Client Mansfield District Council Main Contractor Taylor Woodrow Construction Limited Value £3.70m Project Duration 27 Weeks Gleave Partnership Role Quantity Surveyors The project comprised the construction of a new leisure facility for Mansfield District Council. The scheme provided a main hall which could be used for basketball, indoor football, badminton and also allowed local care groups to use the hall for occupational health exercises. The building also housed a weight training room, sauna and solarium, changing rooms, toilets and offices. The project is a steel framed building with masonry and insulated cladding and precast upper floors. Finishes are generally plaster and paint to common areas with tiled finishes to wet areas. The main hall has a bespoke gym floor system. External works included an outdoor five-a-side football court.
