Client Manchester City Council Main Contractor Simons Construction Ltd Value £1,750,000 Project Duration 25 weeks Gleave Partnership Role Quantity Surveyors / Employer's Agent The Works comprise the design and construction of the superstructure and fit-out of a two storey Library and Learning centre with a gross internal floor area (GIFA) of c. 1,250 m2, comprising: Open aspect ground floor library area, toilets, lifts, and three classrooms, with IT suite, staffroom, toilets and meeting rooms at second floor level with a roof mounted plantroom. The Site Works included bin store, switch room, Pedestrian Access, 278 highways works, Landscaping, Fencing, External Services and Drainage Installations. These works were managed by our Senior Surveyor Steven Standring.
