Client Tesco Stores Ltd Location Bicester Village Outlet shopping centre Gleave Partnership Role Gleave acted as Quantity Surveyor Gleave Partnership Key Personnel Director Steven Cox personally took control of the project. As part of Gleave Partnership’s continued relationship with Tesco, we were appointed as Quantity Surveyors on one of the retailers last large format stores at Bicester. The works comprised the construction of a new 60,000ft2 retail store and the closure of their existing store at the Bicester Village Outlet shopping centre. The project was challenging and Gleave worked closely with the Client, design team and contractor to assist in extensive value engineering to enable the project to proceed to completion. This project was one of Tesco’s fist forays into the world of BIM and was instrumental in achieving a clash free construction for the main contractor. The project was completed on programme in April 2016.
