The Works comprised the construction of a single storey building forming the new infant and junior school with a gross internal floor area of 2,335m2, comprising classrooms, offices, toilets etc with associated site works, services and works to existing buildings.
The design for this project has achieved an excellent BREEAM rating.

Whitehouse School was built on a greenfield site, requiring deep cut into sloping ground in order to visually site the school into the surrounding area. The building consisted of a steel framed structure with traditional masonry walling. The building incorporates many energy saving and environmental initiatives such as solar panels, sun pipes, photo voltaic panels and rainwater harvesting.
The school included a bespoke library and multi function hall.
The design for this project has achieved an good BREEAM rating.
